Most suitable: If you are taking GCSE Maths or Statistics.

This is not good enough for A Level Statistics as it does not have all of the functions you are expected to be able to use in an exam

Most suitable: If you are only taking A Level Statistics and not A level Maths.

Your calculator for A Level Statistics must have statistical functions as well as:

  • Binomial Tables
  • Poisson Tables
  • Normal Tables

Graphing Scientific Calculator

Most Suitable: If you are taking A level Maths alongside A level Statistics. You are not expected to have a calculator that is this advanced as it can do a lot of things you do not need and is a lot of money for something you may never use again. You are allowed this calculator in the exam and it can do everything you will need
